Today’s drawing is inspired by a dream I had last night. In the dream I watched as dozens and dozens of strange ant/wasp like creatures crawled out of the spaces around the edges of doors and windows near me. Not the most pleasant dream but it gave me some inspiration.
For this drawing I did not make use of reference for the creatures anatomy as I wanted to capture the raw memory of what I had seen in my dream rather than creating something more accurate to life but less accurate to what I had seen. Overall I’m fairly pleased with the design although there are some areas of the anatomy that could be improved upon.
