A little early if you ask me but today I carved a pumpkin. I used today’s inktober to create a basic idea of the kind of expression I wanted to create in my pumpkin. In the end what I carved was a little different but I still liked my initial idea.
In the final carving I did maintain the design of the eyes and nose however the mouth changed a fair bit. I have done drawings of carved pumpkins for Inktober before and while this one is less realistic, I am pleased to see the difference a few years can make.
