Today I made another attempt at producing a sketch of a dragons full body, I was far happier with the initial sketch I produced today and was able to move on to produce a full drawing.
Inspired by classic Welsh dragons this design is quadrupedal and has its massive wings furled to protect them against its back. In this drawing I continued to experiment with the texture creation I began in the dragon portrait I had produced previously, I feel that I was successful in creating the impression of scales and thick armoured hide throughout this design.
