In keeping with the more sci-fi theme of yesterday’s drawing I wanted to design a more robotic character today. I was aiming to create a bipedal humanoid design that would resemble a robot that had been built for combat purposes.
I feel like I was fairly successful in capturing the overall look I wanted. The solid black face plate is meant to represent a shining black screen protecting the front of the designs head and I feel that it really adds to the intimidation factor of the design. I feel as if the design of the arm mounted blades could be redeveloped to make them appear less delicate however I feel that overall this design was a success.
