The main goal of the 3D module of my second year at university was to design, model and texture a character that could be brought into a game engine.
The character I chose to create was a humanoid rhinoceros gladiator of impressive build and intimidating size. The character was created completely in Blender aside from the textures which I painted using a combination of Blender and Krita.
This was an interesting challenge to complete as it was my first time taking a character through the entire process of sculpting, retopology, UV unwrapping and texturing. While the process did take me a while I was happy with the final result which did function within a game engine when exported from Blender.
