My drawing for today is of a Dungeons and Dragons monster that I find to be very visually interesting, the Modrons are creatures from the plane of order and they appear in several different stages. This stage is known as a Monodrone and I find their simplistic mechanical design to be very visually appealing.
The creatures themselves are simple however I find them to be capable of a remarkable range of expressions and emotions, I feel that this study turned out well as I was able to capture both the solid mechanical nature of the creature as well as the visible emotion in it’s expression.
