Along similar lines to the drawing from yesterday I was encouraged to continue producing drawings of creatures. Today’s subject was a Mummy. Not a design I have ever tackled before but the wrappings and overall undead nature of the creature seemed like an interesting challenge.
I was happy with the way my design turned out. I attempted to create some depth within the piece by posing the creature reaching in the direction of the viewer and making use of foreshortening as well as including loose wrappings around some of the limbs to give the design more character and a sense of motion.
